Xclusive Tan offers a large selection of sunless options. All of our spray tanning technicians are certified, and have 25+ year combined experience! We use all eco-certified solution, from organic, up to competition solution colors. Our custom spray tanning service, also known as airbrush spray tan is UV-Free which translates as a natural looking tan with instant gratification.

Shower - Shave - Exfoliate!
We cannot over stress the importance of exfoliation. 48-hours prior to your appointment, clear away any dry, dead skin cells with a pH balancing exfoliating scrub such as Amber Sun™ Body Scrub. Xclusive Tan also offers Natural Exfoliates that can be used directly before your appointment.
Avoid using bar soaps, high pH shower products, or in-shower moisturizers. These products can neutralize the DHA bronzing action within the skin.
Do not apply any lotion prior to your appointment. Anything on your skin prior to your appointment can potentially create a barrier, altering you spray results. Wipes are available to remove makeup and deodorant, but it’s best to come to your appointment without makeup or lotion.
Any shaving should be done prior to your appointment as you will need to wait a full 24 hours after your appointment to do any type of shaving.
Don’t Create Sunless Barriers
You do not want to apply anything to the skin that may act as a barrier between the sunless solution and the skin. Deep penetration is key to beautiful lasting color. Do not apply lotions, creams, or perfumes prior to session. Use deodorant sparingly.
Remove any make-up prior to sunless application. Wipes are available.
Wear loose fitting dark clothing and remove jewelry. Tight clothing can rub or smear bronzers, especially around the knees, elbows and waist. Yoga pants do not qualify as loose fitting clothing.
You can expect you spray tanning technician to go over the process. We will help you select the perfect spray solution for your tone.
We utilize a 3 step process when applying spray tans. A lot of spray tan facilities charge additional fees for the process, but at Xclusive Tan we are committed to you the customer and realize you deserve the very best at a reasonable price!
First we will use XL-A-Tan Prep spray. This will lower the PH levels in your skin, insuring we are neutralizing anything on the skin that could become a potential problem
We will then apply the selected spray solution
Our final step we will Hydro firm to seal in your spray tan providing your skin moisturization to extend and prolong your spray tan.
DO NOT SHOWER for at least 8 hours. For best results it is recommended you shower 14-24 hours after your session. It is NOT recommended you go more than 24 hours without showering after a spray session.
Rain and vigorous activities should be avoided until after your first shower. Results can be blotchy or streaky should you sweat or get in contact with rain.
It is not recommended you have a pedicure that requires you to soak your feet directly after your spray tanning session. Wait until you have your first shower.
Do not shave for at least 24 hours
We recommend you sleep with clothing on to prevent the tan from transferring from your skin onto your hands or from one body part to the other.
Your first shower it is normal to see the cosmetic bronzer wash off. You will have a gorgeous tan that is retained on the skin that will last you days.
Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize!
We have several moisturizers that will extend the life of your spray tan including Infusion Black Label touch body lotion. Avoid any moisturizer with mineral oils or petroleum.
Do not soak in a bath tub
Avoid long, hot showers
Do not use anything rough when taking a shower, loofah’s mesh puff’s and body wash with exfoliates can prematurely remove your spray tan
Do not use bar soap, or body wash that will alter your pH levels. We can recommend several products that are perfect at maintaining a beautiful spray tan.
Expect you face to fade faster if you cleanse, exfoliate or use an astringent every day.

- Retin-A type products (Renova, Tazorac, Tretinoin)
- Astringents containing alcohols or Witch Hazel
- Anti-acne products (Accutane, Salicylic Acid)

- Wax Depilatories
- Hot tubs, chlorine & salt water. Wear waterproof sunscreen to repel water.
